Situated within the historic City Walls, North Walls is a quiet one-way street just a minute's walk from shops, restaurants,  pubs and banks. It is ideally located for the Theatre, Priory Park and Oaklands Park with easy and close access to Chichester Harbour, West Wittering beach, Goodwood, South Downs and main line rail to London, Portsmouth & Brighton.

A small bakery (Orchard Tea rooms) is just round the corner, also selling milk & small selection of other provisions.

The cottage is at the end of North Walls, just off the top of North Street

DIRECTIONS BY CAR
Follow signs to Chichester in direction of Midhurst. At the large roundabout at Northgate take next left after North Street (Fire station on right), Take next left again into Orchard Street, under small bridge, then left again. A few metres on right is off road parking (outside Regnum Court) for unloading and short term stay. The cottage is just a 30 second walk away on the right hand side.

For longer term parking, turn right out of North walls, round the roundabout again, and take 3rd left into Northgate car park (follow P signs).

Goodwood is also renowned for its horse racing with many meetings throughout the year, the famous Festival of Speed, The Revival and beautiful Sculpture Park. Goodwood Festival of Speed - July              Goodwood Revival  Sept   Vintage Goodwood - planned for August 2010 Be sure to book early if you are planning to stay during this amazing event.  You could not be better placed that at Oak Lodge where a courtesy car will drive you to & from the grounds.   West Wittering Beach Noted as one of the 10 best beach locations in the Country with something for everyone.  Peaceful & secluded sand dunes on East Head or surf & waves further along the beautiful stretch of  sandy beach.  15 minutes drive away (longer in high season at peak times)    Chichester Cathedral This must be one of England's most beautiful cathedrals, situated in the heart of a historic and charming City. Chichester can boast some of the best shops, cafes and restaurants to be found in the South. Chichester Theatre The theatre continues to attract many famous actors and playwrights and the summer festivities must surely be unrivalled. Oak Lodge and North Walls cottage have been the temporary home to several actors and directors over the last year. Arundel Castle  A 10 minute car journey or train ride takes you to the charming town of Arundel, situated on the river Arun. Wonderful eating palces, art galleries and specialists shops are in abundance.  This a is a great day out for all ages.
